Two members of the OC team have just returned from Gaziantep, Turkey, after delivering a training support the establishment of the Syrian Women Humanitarian Network (SWHN) movement in Gaziantep, Turkey.
The three day training covered a range of topics such as conducting a needs assessment, data analysis, an introduction to gender issues and the feminist movement, how to design a project, mechanisms of humanitarian funding, among others.
The workshops also covered proposal writing and developing a funding strategy. The sessions were engaging and interactive, designed to be as informative as possible for the attendees.
The attendees comprised of around 25 women who were eager to learn more about the topics and increase their level of understanding.
